Designed for relieving severe and chronic aches and pains, and create more mobility. This is a highly detailed massage, built upon science-based foundations. NMT focuses on the complete muscle belly, helping to release muscle from tight tissue will reduce blood flow. NMT also focuses on trigger points, or knots and the pressure on nerves by soft tissue. Hydration, stress, nutrition, and breathing are also taken into consideration as these can effect the patient.
PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION
A more advanced form of flexibility training that involves both the stretching and contraction of the muscle group being targeted. Aimed to lengthen muscle tissue and increase mobility, it is one of the most effective forms of stretching for improving flexibility and increasing range of motion.
Myofascial decompression or “cupping” is a particular cupping technique in which movement is elicited under the cups to restore movement patterns and restrictions from nonfunctional to functional. Myofascial decompression is a useful technique for breaking up adhesions, scar tissue, and soft tissue restrictions through the use of negative pressure.
